I am engaged in a project wherein I combine spoken word experimental poetry with music. I've released six albums of this work thus far in 2025, and I will continue (he threatens!).

Drambo has become the primary synth environment I use, and it's crucial to me workflow. In the last year, the use of just about every other synth app has fallen away, because Drambo is so gloriously powerful, and so much fun to explore.

So I thought I would share my latest work with the community: The Wow, seven poems with extensive Drambo patching and some other instrumentation (a lot of Bram Bos' Troublemaker, too, because I do love that 303 sound):

I just published my first album entirely made in Drambo. It's piano music, using PurePiano and a tiny bit of GeoShred.

Drambo has been a huge part of my creative life, and I’m deeply grateful to @giku and everyone here for this community.

I've made so much music on Drambo over the past year. I've also been having so much fun creating my own sounds, from drums and percussions to the most unhinged bass and leads. I even upgraded to an iPad Pro just to use it as my primary instrument!

I'm a programmer by trade, not a musician. I typically reflect this in my music, but Drambo pushed me towards adding performative elements to my music. I've found it to be such a fun creative outlet, so much so that I've started to have a session each week and record and upload it to YouTube.

I've been getting really positive engagement on there, mostly from people curious about Drambo and how I use it—whom I typically point to this forum.

Here I use touchosc to allow the Xbox controller to send midi to Drambo, which is there for poly synths, drum breaks, punch fx, scene fader, etc.

I got Drambo about a year ago. Having come from Elektron devices, everything clicked quickly -- but with the added bonus of having access to AUv3 plugins. Drum Computer, DigiStix, PurePiano, NeoSouls, GeoShred.. it all blended together. I finally had the platform I had been looking for.

Anyway, here's music that makes me happy. I hope it makes you happy too.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create your best rendition of this celebrated John Cage's composition.

I tried some new audiounits on this one like Nambu, Buttersynth, Trooper, and Cascade.

I was using "clips auto-grow" feature to record long performances but it kept crashing when I went to loop it so I stopped using it. Its a useful feature though when you just want to play.

I love the Quantize module! Its so awesome for jamming, although I wish it could to 32nd notes.
