Clicking on "Set" underneath it lets me pick the pre loaded samples like "sampler-ethereal" or "sampler-kissme".

On the Top is a "Mic Recorder" If i type in a File name the Keyboard ist wont close. If i press record i get a white blinking light. Press the Record Button again shite light stops. Cat see if anything was recoded as the Keyboard ovelay is still there. I press back click on Set again and no new wav files show up.

I can see the Files in Finder but cant add or replace new files there.

How do i use custom samples?

Tested on iphone15ProMax iOs 26.1 and iPhone13Pro iOs 18.3.1

I have a Digitone 2, and annoyingly enough, it’s really good. Like, every time I think “maybe I should just sell this and focus on Drambo”, I turn it on and it immediately goes “hello, remember me, I sound expensive”. Digiton 2 really speaks to the heart, it's immediate and performance friendly.

But the thing is, I keep coming back to Drambo. It feels more like the weird little system I actually want to build. I like that it can be a sequencer, synth, sampler, fx box, modular rabbit hole, and general bad life decision all in one app.

I mostly make techno-ish stuff, and the idea of having one focused iPad setup with a controller is very appealing. Less gear, less cables, less “hmm maybe I need one more box”, hopefully more actual music. Maybe. Drambo takes just a tad more time to setup as a performance tool, but still very doable.

So yeah, please convince me that selling the Digitone 2 is the right thing to do. Tellme Drambo can basically cover that territory. Tell me I’m only keeping the Digitone because it has nice buttons and makes me feel like I have my life together. Tell me FM is just spicy math and Drambo can handle it somehow.

I’m not looking for a balanced discussion btw. I’m looking for friendly peer pressure. 😅

1) The presence of such cool effects in Performance Mode hints at the possibility of audio output and/or recording. Perhaps the "Rec" button in this mode will record audio or automation? :) In some combinations, the effects are so beautiful that I want to record them and use them in my ambient sketches.

2) And, of course, it would be great to be able to change the length of each sequencer line so that loops overlap randomly when repeated. Again, the idea seems obvious. I'd love to see this feature in future updates.

I wanted to take advantage of the musical knowledge of the forum, and I’m sure there’s more than one fan here.

I’d like to create rhythms and textures similar to those Thom Yorke generates, mainly in his solo work, but I’m having some difficulties achieving it. Taking songs like Cymbal Rush and Atoms for Peace as examples, could anyone advise me on which direction to take in terms of processing to achieve that kind of groove?

These are some things I understand might be happening, but when I try to recreate them I feel like I end up over-saturating the groove and it doesn’t “breathe” as much:

• In general: variable velocity to humanize the groove and move toward more polyrhythmic feels (removing a kick or snare from the start of the beat).
• Kick: playing with the cut-off and effects on the kick such as reverb and delay? Or is it better to send the audio to another track and apply the effects there? Or not touch it at all?
• Snares with an LFO slightly detuning them and playing with volume?
• Hi-hat: short sounds with LP cut-off modulation, volume, and pan? Also pitch?
• Anything I might be missing that I should take into account?
• Anything else to consider? I think their grooves tend to be fairly minimalist in terms of equipment.

Any additional advice is welcome.

They have some interesting and cool features in the app, and it got me to thinking about a few optimizations that might be worthy of including in Drambo at some point.

Below are a list of enhancements and feature requests that come to mind:

. Allow users to select Sample Slices in the FlexiSampler and Reverse them easily via the EDIT button, so that when these Slices play, they play in reverse in that Step in the sequence. I know that we can Parameter lock this currently, but sometimes manually manipulating a Sound Source is faster and more conducive to achieving sonic outcomes. I was thinking that a Double Tap on the Slice in the Edit view would select that slice segment so the user doesn't have to Drag and futz with the Selection highlight.

. Allow FlexiSampler to support a Pool of Sounds, so that each Step can play a Sound from that Pool quickly and easily. I love this feature on the DigiTakt, and it would be amazing to have it available in Drambo. Per Step Sound with the Sample Pool :)

. Drambo should have a proper DrumKit/Rack Instrument type by now, so we can load in 16 Sounds mapped to pads and play them back via the keyboard on a Single Track. There's a device to sort of do this, but something more integrated and intentionally designed as a DrumKit/Rack would be a big time saver (and a nice way to sell IAPs for DrumKits with sounds and sequences)-Drambo Expansions!!!

. Play Back rules on a Per Track Basis. Allow users to specify the direction of Playback on a Per Track Basis (yes, I want the PolyEnd Play to live in Drambo):

• Forward
• PingPong
• Random

. Have you download the SB Dialekt Demo and use your Genius Mad Scientist Mind to see what you want to 'borrow' and improve upon from that app.

The guide seems only to work if I use the piano's audio (not midi) output as the carrier, but this does not work very well for me and the carrier signal fades quickly once the piano key is pressed. I can confirm through AUM that I am getting midi signal from the FocusRite dock. How do I chain it into the Vocoder?

New cubase just dropped and added DAW wide bigwig style modulation, a pattern sequencer and drum machine. This is everything I could have hoped for short of folder buses. Anyone else here a Cubase user? I’m so hyped.

I'm quite new to Drambo and BeepStreet. On my way through YT I watched a video about Impaktor and felt a strong urge to head over to the AppStore to buy it ... only to not find it. Turned out that it isn't available from a German Apple account. Is there an easier way to get it than to change my Apple ID's location (and fake all the necessary data just to find out that my payment methods don't work unless I get myself a U.S. or UK credit card with an associated bank account)?

I'd be really glad if there was a viable solution.

JUst downloaded iSequence and had a couple of questions that I can't find the answers to in the manual.

How can you delete a User Instrument? Everytime I press "Del" the app closes out completely.

and, how can you delete a User Bank? I do get it to Delete in Edit; but, it never goes away; i.e., it says it's deleted but it isn't. Hope this makes sense
