Which actions does ‘UNDO’ include/exclude?

edited April 2020 in General app discussion

I’ve noticed not all Drambo actions are tracked by the UNDO history.

For example, if you (1) add a sequencer note/step, then (2) add a new module, pressing UNDO removes the sequencer note but leaves the module intact.

I wondered if there is a list of actions that are tracked by UNDO, and a list of things it ignores?

...also - could I please add a feature request for REDO in a future update :)

undo/redo isn't really sorted out yet.

undo basically just deletes note input (and everything that goes with it) now

    its really not ideal.

    its work in progress ...

(it doesnt know about p locks or messing around with modules)

the scenario I mostly have is this

    I record some notes ,

    I like that

I record some p locks on top

    now it sounds like shit

    I press undo

it deletes the notes I liked :/

( I have to say I mostly just press record to record some p locks, doing it step by step is very precise, but I find it kind of tedious )

  • REDO would definitely be very handy.

  • Undo should be able to literally undo anything that you can do. I hope this gets developed.

  • +1 for redo, for now.

I’ve lost a couple of sequences and now I’m afraid of the undo button. That can’t be right 😅

  • +1 for redo too.
