Looks useful! I just bought a second Faderfox EC4 so I guess I'll just stick with that though π
I've given up on the BCR32 ever being created. Its very Behringer to take the one unique idea they've come up with and throw it in the trash (after making a prototype to scare away other folks)
i can’t seem to find this guys site anymore. I can’t remember the address but searching Modern Midi Timepod only finds the kickstarter and youtube. Looks like it got crazy funding so it would be a shame if its dead. I only put down $1 to reserve one cause I don’t trust people.
Ok. I tried to make it work as a preset/snapshot store box but it isn’t quite working.
Firstly the morph needs to be in the same container to affect the values.
Secondly once assigned the assigned controls do not respond when I try to modify them directly.
Thirdly I was getting some weird behaviour when dialing in say, el piano sound , it would sound fine when morph was enabled but very weird when off with no real ability to further alter it.
So yeah, feels like work in progress. Perhaps it could work in some simpler scenarios.
I get that morph is essentially a snapshot. What I dug about Timepod was that you could create and save snapshots on the fly. The ability to decide on the fly that I want to bounce between these specific values.
What you’re doing above seems more like switching presets. I’d go with the Layers Switch on that personally.
I only just now realized I can midi map the buttons to map crossfade parameters. I think that means I can change and save them without touching the screen but I might be wrong on that. I don’t have my knobs with me.

Looks good indeed! I also like the efficient knob design a lot.
No word about the price?
If you put a $1 deposit the price is $299. I very much wonder when it’ll be done though.
Thanks!
I wish there were some news about the Behringer BCR32 π€

You could have infinite snapshots with a snapshot module. It seems @giku may be able to repurpose something he already has at some point.
Sorry for being cryptic, it cropped up in a conversation we had a couple of days ago.
I definitely like the form factor though.
I could see the buttons module having a similar assign feature like the morph module for each button and then being able to store values when pressed.
Momentary buttons with that would be wild!
Silly me, just buttons module and morph totally easily do that.
Oh man, this is the preset feature I’ve been waiting for!
I only wish when assign is enabled I could hear the changes that I make. Currently I assign needs to turned off for one to hear the morph effect

Yeah, I totally get the idea of wanting a controller with snapshots. It’s just being a cheapskate I always end up looking for diy solutions π
Although at this points my proposed solution doesn’t seem to be working as I expected.
