Haven’t finished a full track in years
Last night I felt the calling, spent a couple of hours having fun, and came up with this rough sketch of track 1 for my upcoming #1 hit
I have tracks 2 and 3 boiling in my head, and my patching is just “go with the flow”, sorry
But if anyone wants to make it better (please put fx at the end and/or mix it properly, I’d be more than grateful)
And I hereby grant a “do wtf you want” license to everything that might be posted on this thread

i’ve had a listen to Track 1 and as soon as I’ve got the time I’ll add some stuff to it.
I dropped one of my Mastering Tools on it and the sound just went ohhmmmfff. ;)

I'm sort of doing it instinctively using the current Patterns.
When desiging the dRambo+L-Pro template I had to assign Patterns to Clip rows which forces one to think in arrangement terms.
Having Patterns clearly labelled as Chorus, Verse etc is also very useful.
We could use clips on the Main track for visualizing different song sections and save them as song templates...
Instinctively is the right word. Not sure if it would help me, the ideas and creativity are in the patterns IMO. Arranging them feels more like mechanical work to give the song the structure that makes sense.
I think one way would be to label the Patterns and save that as a template.
Another way would be to have one Pattern based timeline solely for
the purpose of Pattern arranging with the ability to save the arranged Patterns as presets

the way I make music seems to be very different,
I can't swop sounds with any other sound and play the same notes - this isnt a Piano piece or a 3 minute pop song or something ... - thing fall instantly apart if I try to do that ;)
Some people arrange using formulaes which isnt always necessary in a DAWless emvironment unless one wants or needs to.
Some can keep them in their head however when creating multiple tracks
not many can keep up with all of the arrangements when focusing on complex structures.
I had a hard time coming up with arrangements structures before clip matrixes showed up and everything was linear ...
but since there are clip matrixes I can develop ideas and structures freely starting from a basic single pattern idea easily 😃
basically i quickly do trial & error until I find things that work/ I like - that build the other patterns :)
hopefully I get nice surprises on the way and dont repeat the same thing I did the last time ... (dont want to bore myself here) :)
