Strange bug: notes retriggering on first loop

I’m having a strange issue where triggers will seemingly double trigger on the first loop of a clip. Even more strange is it’s only between steps 3-15. I thought it had to do with a complex drum rack I had built, but I just tested it in. New project with nothing but a shot sampler.

the issue is reflected in the midi and gate monitors for the track.

I attached a screen recording of the issue. Anyone else experience this? Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

    I just tried on iPad and iPhone, I can't reproduce this.

    Which model and iOS version are you on?

    iPhone 15 pro Max iOS 18.5

    OK, I just tried the exact same thing on an iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 18.5, and I cannot make this happen.

    I've restarted Drambo a few times, played the pattern a few times and I never got duplicate notes.

    Is anything connected to your iPhone when you get this behavior?

    Is transport synchronized to anything? MIDI? Link?

    Are there other audio apps running in the background?

    Trying to reproduce this, no luck so far, ofc the issue is real.
