Drambo 8 outs inside Drambo

edited November 2025 in Drambo

I saw a YouTube online that you can use drambo 8 outs within Drambo so you can have a whole channel with drambo 8 outs in it dedicated to drums...

I was about to do this, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get more than one sound coming out of the channel with Drambo 8 outs..

For example, the first channel in 8 outs is a Kick drum, which I can hear, but channel 2 and 3 of the drambo 8 outs channel (snare and high hats) I can't hear, yeah the monitor shows it's being triggered.

  • I think I may have figured it out? I have to switch each of the 8 channels of the Drambo 8 out channel to "Ext. Out 1" and now I can hear all the channels I added in the Drambo inside Drambo channel

  • Yes, by default the audio is routed to the track's own output which lands on Main track and will be mixed to Main stereo output.

Thanks for posting how you made 8 channels available to AUv3 multi-out, I bet you're not the first one looking for a solution.

Now that I think about it, I see how a dedicated factory project would make sense.

I didn't need it yet because I do all processing (EQ, bitcrushing, shaping, compression, filtering, reverbs etc.) inside Drambo.

Good call, I think I'll make one to have ready to load up whenever I need it.
