You could put it in a effects rack and save that as a preset? You can also make folders in the preset browser for each type of effect in a rack to keep things organized.
I agree, saving layer crossover presets themselves doesn’t look like a reusable preset, because in other projects the connections will likely be different. Racks is the way to go (imho)
