Cant overdubbing with midi controller

Hi, im trying to record a knob sequence (Turnado) with Drambo using its sequencer and an external midi controller (OXI E16) in AUM, I only can overdubbing using it without the external midi controller, i notice when recording with the controller the knob turns only red and recording without the cottroller turns green/red, any help would be appreciated!!
