Recording gyroscope data as automation

Hello everybody... it's my first post here...

I've been modulating all kinds of stuff to the gyroscope module lately... But I haven't managed to figure out a way to record these modulations as Drambo automation.

Just the record-button doesn't do it... which kind of makes sense. But, as it's Drambo after all, the are probably ways to achieve it??

    I think the only solution is to convert the gyro into MIDI CC (MIDI CC generator) and immediately back to CV (MIDI controller). Then you connect the value knob with the corresponding mod target. The MIDI controller will be recorded. You only have to mute the gyro after recording.

    btw: is there a module to determine record state? If so, then it would be possible to control a switch. If there is not such a module, please file it as a suggestion ;-)

    Just before I was thinking how to record the movement of the XY pad. Off the top of my head, cause I haven’t had the chance to try, I’m thinking I could use the XY signals to modulate two amps and record it into a recorder, flexi or buffer module, separated by channel (combined into a stereo file)

    those two tracks could then be split and used as modulation sources
