Launchpad X mapping issue

Hi

I have the LPX Groovebox A mapping profile selected but it isn't working very well. Probably user error.

Every pressed pad outputs a midi note and plays whatever is on that track. Also the first step of the sequencer pads isn't lit up and when the playhead goes through it doesn't light up.

Any ideas?

    Ok I'm trying to remap this thing. Think I'm starting to understand the basics.

    But can't work out how to stop the launchpad from outputting the default midi note as well as what's mapped. Really hope I'm not going to have to go through the launchpad programmers reference to find some hex codes or something lol.

    Right worked it out - have to turn 'track' off in the settings.

    I'll stop bothering everyone. For now.
