SEQUENCER + MIDI INPUT IN THE SAME CHANNEL

I'm trying to achieve a live loop setting, where I can input different controllers without the need of os selecting TRACK.

So, what I've done is put a MIDI INPUT + MIDI OUPUT in the track, to hear the controller beyond the SELECTED TRAK feature... but, when I put a MIDI INPUT, the sequencer can't be heard anymore...

what am I doing wrong? can anyone help me?

  • Watch the module connections! Adding a MIDI input can re-route connections, in your case I can only guess that MIDI2CV has auto-connected to MIDI INPUT instead.

I don't understand what you mean by "hear the MIDI controller" - can you first describe what the purpose of your setup is?

  • thx for your reply, mate!

Im aware of the parallel routing of the module. but still, maybe Im doing something wrong.

will try to better explain what I want do achieve:

    #

I have 2 controllers (keys and pads)

I want to setup keys for channel 2, pads for channel 10

I want to hear the sounds without the controllers interfere in each others (channel filter)

I want to hear the instrument without the need to SELECT TRAK

I want to hear the sequence as well.

    #

what I achieve so far is to hear only the input controller OR the sequence. not both at the same time…

a work around is creating a new drambo instance for each instrument, then each instance is always in the right selected trak

  • SOLVED

it was not a module procedure to do, I had to hang out with the TRACK PREFERENCES, and filter channel by this means.

thx for your support, community! <3

  • Great that you were able to fix it!
