The save system.


I feel I need my tracks to just stay named ( 1-5 )


Then use Drambo tracks to save presets ( because it also loads map parameters which have a knob made already ) Obviously saved midi mappings would be cool but thats another discussion.


What I mean is.


A track save system that dosent update the name of the track on the pad.


im outputting tracks to a DAW.


Capturing audio tracks and having to be conciou of inputs


but then concious of track saves always updating to pads or being overwritten or something because I just want the pad names to stay named.

    Dont worry.


    Its fine.


    There shouldnt be overwrite issues and all it takes is a rename ( even if always switching out sound sources )


    Would be better if you can load a track save without it naming the pad.

    Hmm I see where you're coming from.

    Thinking about it, loading presets on tracks without changing the existing track name could indeed make sense , at least not if the track name was changed at least once before.

    Problem is: Being able to give dedicated track names when saving track presets is a core feature of preset management and changing that might make quite a few people complain... 😉

    I don’t know about you guys but it’s too easy to mess up stuff and overwrite by accident using OPs scenario of saving tracks and stay on the same project

    I rather prefer to create a custom template and always start from that when creating a new project
