How to record a set number of bars or beats in Flexi or a sampler in Drambo?

I am trying to use a Drambo sampler to record a loop from an acid line from Pure Acid into Drambo. I want it to start and record a perfect set 1 bar pattern. I do not see how to do it anymore; I tried setting to record to thresh and the sync to 16 beats, but it still keeps recording . I even tried adding a bar of time in the clip. Amy possibilities?

    You have to set record sync to clip mode and then manually press record within a bar before loop start and press stop recording when the last bar of the sequence is playing. This is probably the easiest way to record a quantized clip. (Clip sync quantizes record on/off to next bar)

    play modes and stretch are covered but no mention of the rec section, and a little paragraph would perhaps suffice

    Thanks. I would one day hope for audio tracks in Drambo, but I'll try this for now. Audio recorder that can stretch and be just that an audio player / recorder. Yes, the manual would benefit by adding this in as it's not that straight forward and could be helpful for many.

    The record button on the record module can be modulated by the morph module, so you can use that and something like the graphic modulator to have the recording stop exactly where you want.
