Allow renaming of all knobs including Mixer knobs and Modulation knobs
Please add the "name" field to all knob settings. I find it annoying that mixer and modulation knobs use the name of the signal source. This often leads to strange labels on these knobs and it's often difficult to get a useful name by tweaking the name of the source etc.
And some modules clone wrong names: For example an L/R to stereo module always appears as "L" on a mixer. Regardless of how you name it.

You can rename the signal source to keep track of modulation.
I am aware of this workaround but it is often sub optimal. Example: You choose a descriptive (longer) name for the source, but the string does not fit on the label of the Modulation / Mixer knob. The result is a crippled string. Or you want to name the source module after it's function (e.g. oscillator), but the knob on the mixer after the signal (e.g. square).
My suggestion is to keep the current behavior and copy the name from the source to the knob when the source gets assigned or the source name changes. Nevertheless I would highly appreciate to have that "name" field in the knob properties to allow tweaking the name.
I sympathize with the request, but I’ve learned to live with the “suboptimal”workaround and rename my modulation sources whenever needed.
what I would want more is a way to jump to the modulating source from a modulation knob. As patches get more complex sometimes it’s hard to find where the modulation comes from from color/name alone
I would also REALLY appreciate this, AU Parameters without descriptive titles really bother me and are so hard to keep track of, I don't use modulation knobs, I want to just p-lock and automate the AU knobs while knowing what they actually are and without having to hound a dev to make the labels make sense, let me make them make sense!
