I mean no discouragement but the level the pros get is no easy task, and probably start with an advanced math degree which I’m well past expiration date to even consider
but fun? Yeah we can have fun with even just trying 🤓
You can see examples all over portugal, and everywhere portugal has made a mark, from brasil to macau, angola, goa. Yeah portugal was once a world power (long ago)
You butchered several quotes there I’m afraid. Bruce Lee’s was about flowing like water. Zen’s one is finger pointing at the moon (and missing the moon by the finger). Don’t get me started or I’ll post a dissertation
I really like that one @gravitas and thank you for putting this thread back on the original topic; Drambo Art. 😍
Here’s a couple from my latest contribution:
(It's another Scene project based upon the same framework as MIDI Meadow, and MIDI City, which are modified versions of the factory Scene preset MIDI Piano Roll)

Awesome. :)
Thanks, but still nowhere near the images gemini generated. i’d have to be Inigo Quilez or something for that level of realism.
Still I’ll play more with the idea, I like where it’s going 😀
I also like where it's going.
We're just taking the first baby steps, wait until our skill level matches the potential. :)
Yeah, it will only take a couple of decades 😂

You gotta smack your LLM until it gives you code for making that.
I’m poking it with a stick
I'm one to talk because I do it all the time how ever making myself sound like a hypocrite, don't sell yourself short.
Your work is astounding, it pushes me to improve my understanding of the math that we're using to create our own imagery.
I'm no great mathematician but this stuff is making me think way out of my comfort zone,
I had thought the DSP side of things had pushed me hard.
My official level of math and indeed my qualifications right across the board stop at A Level
at 18 I dropped out of education for whatever reasons and became a self taught musician etc
yet here we are playing with stuff that students of math have suffered with for years in University
and we're playing with it like it's child's play, I think you should pat yourself on the back mate.
Intelligence at whatever age is intelligence. ;)
Lolololololol....
Said like a true Shaolin monk.
Don't look at the finger because you will miss Heaven in all of it's glory.
Sorry Bruce Lee for butchering your quote.
It’s easy to get lost
Just to be clear, when I don’t reply by text it’s because I’m trying telepathy

Kidding of course 🙏🤗😘
but also being real 🤷♂️
Lolololololol
Lolololololo, one must be accurate otherwise they'll come and get you...
Dun, dun, dun... ;)
🙏🏾
@pedro I found one of yours and Shane's Extrude shaders, which I took the liberty of having CGPT refine a bit.
Always been one of my favorite effects!
Late night drawing with fractals.
This piece is called "Still Building Bridges"
said Winnie the Pooh to the Grasshopper. ;)
Last piece for the night,
"Heavenly Glory"
Six in 1 combination fractal being subtracted from a sphere.
I'm still looking for the sweet spots.
@pedro and for accuracy sake.
The Shaolin monk reference is a real one in regards to Shaolin Monk's using sticks,
1. The Meditation Tool (The "Encouragement Stick")
2. "Iron Body" Conditioning
3. Enforcing Strict Monastic Rules
and the correct Bruce Lee quote is from the movie "Enter the Dragon", when he was training his student,
"Don't think. Feel! It is like a finger pointing away to the moon. Don't concentrate on the finger or you will miss all that heavenly glory."
Back soon. ;)
Hehe, I didn’t mean to get all pedantic. Of course I seen enter the dragon (numerous times) and have been a fan of eastern philosophy since my teens,
I was actually referring to Bruce’s biography, and it’s all zen and stuff, but yes now that I recall he brings that water analogy in the movie as well
we can still be friends right? I feel we’re on the same page 😅
Btw, lovely shader, things are getting real
Lololololol, obviously we're still friends. ;)
For a moment there I had thought I'd forgotten the correct reference so that's for my own internal dialogue,
reference for anyone who reads this thread and myself also in regards to Zen philosophy.
I'm very Zen until I'm not. 🙏🏾 🥷🏾
I also have a stick, a few actually...
I'm a drummer. ;)
Thank you.
🙏🏾
btw, I've found that sticking a blur module between the source and the extrudifier makes for better results.
@pedro
This one uses a hybrid fractal SDF mask combining a Mandelbulb and a Kleinian fractal.
The raymacher is Surface 320.
Coloured using the XYZ Transform into the Colour hue.
I call this one "Journey"
I will eventually be animating quite of these to make video clips.
I really like that one @gravitas and thank you for putting this thread back on the original topic; Drambo Art. 😍

Lets go for a hike in the MIDI Forest 🌳 🌲
Nice!
great stuff! btw. cooking some new processor presets for upcoming beta
Nice, nightmare inducing, just as I like’em
Those are lovely. 😻🙏🏾
O.M.G.
The new beta is out
