Oneshot-mode for Wavetable-LFO
I asked Claude to generate a wavetable, where the single frames represent envelopeshapes similar to those of different classic hardware synths with the smoothest possible transition, if you scrub the positions.
It looks kind of cool and potentially useful, I wish the Wavetable-LFO had a one-shot-mode, so I could use this:)
No idea, how difficult that would be @giku, but having a graphical representation of the shape on screen, having lots of variety and the super slow or fast rates of the module all at the flick of 2 knobs, I'd love it(:

This is what Claude intended to do:
FrameShape0TR-808 snappy (ultra-fast snap)5–15MS-20 aggressive → TR-808 kick15–50Exponential decays: fast → med → slow → sqrt → linear → log → cubic57–78Hardware ADSR: Moog → ARP 2600 → Juno → Prophet-5 → Oberheim83–93More ADSR: tight → DX7 stepped → slow98–109Plateau / attack-hold shapes109–124Buchla, VCS3, S-curve inverse124–161Pure attacks: log → sqrt → linear → sine → exp → cubic → parabola166–202Arch shapes: sine bell → swell → bloom → Gaussian peaks208–223Complex: ripple decay, bounce, staircase228–255Wrap back: perc → MS-20 → kick → fast decay
The numbers eg 5-15 are the frames
Also synced envelopes for exact risers would be super easy to make. Also maybe some wave FX could do interesting things(:
That a new take. You mean it gave you a workable wavetable file? Or those cryptic TL;DR instructions above? If it gave you serum compatible 2048 samples files then I’m quite impressed
It made a serum compatible wavetable (meanwhile several), that I could load into Drambo's wavetable and -lfo(: Seemed a sensible order, too.
Nice! That looks like fun, although I have been experiencing some severe AI fatigue lately so I’m not diving into that rabbit hole just yet
i think one shot mode for wavetable lfo is a good idea.
i want that too!:)
as for the above...
all those are supposed to make one wavetable?
and in case of a adsr, for example, there are 4 parameters that could make infinite number of variations. how would that fit into one or more frames?
Thanks for the+1:)
Yes just one file with 256 frames to be used one at a time. Have a look, if you like. You could change the length of each shape with rate-knob, and roughly the length of individual stages of a shape with wave FX.
Of course an end of cycle output would be cool, too, like that you could chain wt-lfos, that could represent only one stage each, but I 'd be more than happy with a one-shot-mode.
I feel you, the couple times I fooled around with AI, I I'm all in for one or two sessions and then get either bored, frustrated, paralysed with options or any combination thereof. But I keep trying and interesting stuff happens, I just don't like the process too much.
downloaded your envelope_shapes wavetable and tried in wavetable lfo.
thank you for that!
made some nice sounds:)
Cool, Glad you like it @wowo (:
