When I export a pattern (length = 1 bar) as audio, that pattern gets repeated 4 times in the resulting audio file for some reason. I cannot find how to export that pattern as a 1 - bar length audio.

I believe the longest clip in the pattern determines the pattern length. Make sure none of your other clips, even if blank, are longer.
