Code module and DC coupling

I principally use Drambo to sequence my modular and mix the returning audio. I use the Experts Sleepers ES-9 + ES-5 + 8GT and 2x8CV expanders.
Currently I am using the Covariant Auv3 encoders, but these have been purged from the App Store and it seems that I will not be able to load them onto an incoming new ipad. I have looked carefully at using MiRack as it alteady has the ES-5 encoders but it only allows 16 inputs (I need 32), and you can only load one MIDI input module per instance.
Since my current setup is so integral to my music making, I am looking for other solutions, including the idea of coding my own AuV3s via porting of the VCV rack encoders, available on Github.
During my research it occurred to me that the Drambo Code module might offer the possibility to do this natively, and save me a ton of work. So I tested by sending some voltage to an ES-9 outputs and noticed that there appears to be some DC filtering employed. Is this correct? If so, how difficult would it be to offer an option to disable DC-blocking?
Or am I looking at bigger problems down the road?
Any advice or pointers appreciated.

Good afternoon, I use dRambo and the Expert Sleepers ES3 extensively for controlling my semi-modulars and Eurorack modules.
I've had no issues with the outputs of the ES-3 except the usual scaling of dRambo's in built CV to external CV.
Are you having dc issues on the inputs or outputs or both?
Also you may not even have to code your own auv3's because dRambo's stock modules cover a lot of ground.
In addition if you're using only CV then you won't even need encoder software/apps, simply scale dRambo's cv signal for usage with the ES-9.
I'm also presuming that the ES-9's voltage swing is ±10v and if so you definitely don't need a third party app,
dRambo can do the scaling internally which you can then check using a multi-meter.
Tested on my end with oscillators, self oscillating filters, gates, triggering sequencers, FM inputs and LFO's.

Understood and yes I use Drambo's in-built CV instrument to send pitch and other CV signals to my modular via the ES-9 - no problem there.
But because I am using the ES-5 with expander modules I must use an encoder because these modules all receive info from the same ES-9 stereo pair (7+8), so the existing CV instrument will not work for these outputs.
Therefore I am trying to assess the feasibility of using Drambo's Code module as the encoder, hence the question re: whether DC blocking is active for the Code Module (which is seems to be, but I am hoping to confirm).

@Jarly ahhh I see the issue now.
Basically because the ES-5 is piggy backing 7+8 it needs the encoder software/app to make the outputs happen.
In that regards I think @giku may able to assist you there.
I'm very much interested in the outcome because I was also thinking about getting the ES-5 for my eurorack rig.

Cool, once I know which path to take I will document it. This is something I am determined to address and, whatever the outcome I will make it open source and free to use by others.
I can recommend the ES-5 and at least one CV expander. Early-on I decided to go this route and I'm glad I did. Just a pity that Covariant and it's author disappeared (I have tried to make contact and I do hope he is OK though). Covariant + Drambo = heavenly control over my modular!

My current combination is a Komplete Audio 6mk ii and an Audient EVO 16 + ES-3
which covers most of my needs for now until it's time to expand again
I will most probably get another ES-3 and then the ES-5.
Expert Sleepers certainly make interfacing dRambo with external CV much, much easier.
I discovered the hard way via using the Komplete Audio 6 mk ii.
I got an X32 rack for studio and live mixing duties and a 2.5Kw per speaker P.A for my band
so waiting until I recoup then I'm adding more stuff ( they don't call it EuroCrack for nothing).
I will certainly bear in mind the ES-5 for future purposes.
And yes it's a pity that Covariant has disappeared and hopefully he's ok.
