Creating a midi chord instrument help
I’ve tried using Chorder! From patch storage but not can’t figure out how to use it either an auv3 synth. I get no audio.
so I tried creating my own but I found I wasn’t able to p-lock the chords. I’ve tried it a few ways but just keep getting stuck. Any insight would be appreciated.
im hoping to create 8 chord types and then place a note in the sequencer and then choose and p-lock the chord types

I'm not sure, if I know exactly, what you want to do, but what you could do, is put 8 chord module in a layer switch, connect the index to e.g. a slider and p-lock the slider.
thanks, i'm not skilled with this, are there any resources you recommend for learning?
This allows you to p-lock chords on sequencer steps with notes. MIDI Switch position 1 is connected to the track's MIDI in port, so only when p-locked to any other switch position, you get a chord.

I can see how this would work just like the Elektron model cycles. I could rename the switches to chord types and p-lock in the sequencer
unfortunately when I set it up I get all the notes playing in serial
switch 1 routes to track 1 plays a single note
switch 2 routed to chord module 1 plays the chord!

Pay attention to the colored connections. Most midi modules forward any incoming midi and mixes it in, sounds like this is happening with your switch 3 - is perhaps the chord module connected to the previous chord module? In the screenshot you see that their green connections both point to the track input. That’s also why switch 1 produces a single note in this setup.
Ok thanks I see all the chord module connect midi to track one. And the switches them are connected to a chord module
