Midi note generator question
How exactly does this work and what are some common workflow uses?
Specifically, can this be set up in the beginning of a track before a chord module so anytime you trigger the track it sends out a chord (with the root note of your choice not the note value of the incoming trigger)? Or is it meant to just send out a note at the outflow of a track? Would love to make Drambo tracks/scenes into chord sending devices. Otherwise it just might be easier to just use other chord producing apps for this.

So this is more of a cv to midi device than something that creates a midi note regardless of the trigger (midi to midi)? Maybe what I’m looking for is some kind of midi processor module.
That kind of sums up how I feel about Drambo in general😄 In all fairness, with this complexity comes immense power.
Try this. I just learned that the note gen module will only change its output on a gate trigger. I expected it to be continuous as long as the gate was high. (Oops just noticed this was a month old. Sorry if it’s old news.)
Looks interesting but I was l looking for a way to input single midi notes into Drambo and get corresponding midi chords out of Drambo. Basically using Drambo instead of apps like ChordPolyPad . Just looked at but haven’t tried it yet. Maybe a midi out module after this module?
Finally figured this out. This has nothing to do with midi in. It takes gate etc and turns it into a midi note. I won’t be using Drambo this way. I will always want to feed it midi to play something or to modulate that midi.
Thanks for reminding me of this( I kind of forgot about it). I just now figured out what I was trying to accomplish due to your nudge and the chord module suggestion from @TheInvisibleMan as well as some recent knowledge about the scenes and midi learning. Everything just came together. Thanks guys!
