Switching patterns loses visual feedback of play position
When I create a new pattern (without stopping playback), and then switch to that pattern, the play position indicator visual feedback is lost, i.e., steeps to not light up as the pattern plays.
If I stop the transport and restart, or if I switch to the original pattern, visual feedback resumes.

Thanks, I should have checked more before posting a known issue. Mostly trying to keep myself off of NYT.com and FiveThirtyEight following this nail-biter!
Indeed it's been reported. The problem is I can't repeat this... What's am I doing different here?
I duplicated it here on the video (3rd pattern)
Your video is ok you view pattern 2 when pattern 1 is playing. You dont see lights on the pattern that is not playing.
@giku I can verify, bug happens when “Instant Pattern Switch” is set to ON.
I hadn’t realized the connection before because I never turn this setting off.
It’s not just duplicating a pattern. Creating new pattern then switching also results in loss of play position.
ok time to dig deeper here
