Beats per bar in 2.0
I must be missing something really obvious, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to set the number of beats per bar to anything other than 4, or (better yet) beats per pattern to anything other than a multiple of 4. In other words, how do I set 3/4 or 5/4 time signature per clip?
I’m trying to create clips that are 3, 4 and 5 beats long and aside from setting the playback speed to 4x and using one note per bar, I can’t figure it out.

For steps per beat you can long press the pattern in the clip launcher to access the pattern menu.
For custom pattern lengths use jump component (bottom-top button with 3 ascending bars, then select COMP tab, select step and tap + -> Jump)
Got it- thank you!
“For custom pattern lengths use jump component (bottom-top button with 3 ascending bars, then select COMP tab, select step and tap + -> Jump)”
but this is unusable in clip mode right? Because in clips, patterns are always 4 beat multiples. Is there any workaround to build a song in 3/4 in 2.0?
Can’t figure it out.
Thanks!
"jump" makes the clip "shorter" as you would expect
@diegux You'll need to have one jump component in each bar, like this:
It's an ugly hack and the grid is still 4/4 but it's a workaround like you said.
Thanks!
If you tap the track number on the left of the clip launcher, you can choose step length from the pop up menu.
