If nothing else, a public, open, respectful and non-finger pointing discussion such as this has got to generate some real sympathy for what developers have to put up with when dealing with AUv3 crap. As someone who gave up due to the abominable Apple documentation, I already have sympathy, but it's good for others to see it in the raw.
Agreed, although it often pollutes the straight forward technical discourse with feelings, wants, needs and random tangents. I’d rather devs have their own corner and a choice if and when involving the general public.
Although in this case they didn’t all seem to know they even had a corner ;) so I’m glad this cropped up.
