dRambo + Launchpad X
Animating the LP X consisted solely
of using dRambo’s sequencer.
All of the sounds that you’re hearing
were created in dRambo except for
the drum loop and hi-hat sample
which are stock Factory sounds
The recording was made direct to video
straight from the summing mixer outs.
This is fun, and really well done! 👍
out of curiosity, how long did it take to build? How much resources does it require (cpu meter)? :)
Thank you and yeah it’s fun.
I built, wrote and recorded it yesterday
and it doesn’t take up much cpu. :)
dRambo is so efficient.
It’s got two Delay rack modules with
four Buffer rescan modules, making
two a piece and three reverbs
Barely a blip on the cpu.
Wow... that makes it even better! 👍
There’s other stuff going on.
The Arps sound was created using two
Modal Resonator and two Waveguide modules
inspired by the recent ‘Battle Royale’.
I’m not getting involved in that
but it’s best to be prepared. :)
The bass was one of my early synth designs
which uses four wavetable oscillators
that I stripped back and tweaked for now.
The Mastering was also done in Drambo.
Respect man. You’ve set the bar high….for yourself included. Makes me kinda regret getting rid of lpx but I also know I need to focus on one thing at a time ;)
No regrets, between the both of us we've got this covered. ;)
Yea this is awesome. The track even without the visuals is really good, and the visuals are awesome to see.
Glad you liked it.
It's going to take a little bit of doing but I am going to do one project
with the entire alphabet in it so that users can copy and paste.
Awesome idea :)
Making me wonder if I should light up the pad grid on my APC 40 as well! Less pixels to work with though
It's fun to do and looks really great on camera. ;)
Totally! I've been meaning to set up a something to video my setup when I jam. It's the future, at least while we are in covid times.
