Takeover mode (absolute CC) setting doesn't work?
I'm mapping knobs from a NanoKEY Studio and it doesn't appear that the "Takeover mode (absolute CC)" setting does anything. Whether it's enabled or not, anything mapped to a pot jumps to the knob value.
- Turn on Takeover mode.
- Map a knob to a control. (Verify that it's recognized as type Continuous absolute)
- Move control on-screen.
- Move knob. Control jumps to the knob value.
- Turn off Takeover mode.
- Move knob. Control jumps to the knob value.
Expected behavior: When Takeover mode is enabled, moving the knob will not affect the control until it passes through the value of the control.

It works here AUV3 hosted in Audiobus.
Ie works with encoders but jumps with pots/faders.
Probably because of the relative mode? :)
Well no, I’m in absolute/takeover mode.
I tried this in Drambo stand-alone. It seems like, when you map a control with Takeover enabled (in Settings), it works only once. The pot does not affect the mapped control until it matches the control. Once they're matched, you must use the pot. If you move the screen control, then the pot, the control will jump to the pot position.
I tried the same thing in Audiobus, and its Pick-Up Mode works every time. Whenever the control differs from the pot, you must match the pot to the control before you can control it again.
This might be a suggestion for @giku. Please make Takeover mode work all the time.
And it has to be the same for absolute encoders and pots/faders, since they both send the same MIDI CC message.
As of today, this still doesn't seem to be possible :(
