My first week in Drambo - Hi Rise Dub
It’s only a WIP at the moment, but I’ve just managed to find a decent technique for achieving a dub effect. It’s 16 bars of straight Reggae followed by 16 bars of Dubwise tomfoolery!
The song, incidentally is based on “Hi Rise” by legendary Space Rockers, Hawkwind, from their album PXR5 😉

I like it
the delay could be more dirty for my taste
Fair comment! I’ve just obtained the Modley Delay Au3 by Klevgrand, and I’m still getting to grips with it. The full desktop VST version lets you put any device in the feedback loop, but I haven’t worked out how to do that with this iPad version. I’m sure if I could suss that out, the delay could get a lot less restrained! You’ve just reminded me that I also have the Nembrini Audio NA Delay 3000. I’ll see if I could introduce that into the mix 😉
Awesome!
New version with delay feedback increased to an almost reckless 84%, as well as some table boost and extra reverb on the feedback loop. I’ve also reduced the master volume by a couple of db because I could hear a few odd audio artefacts on the first version.

put anything in the delay feedback loop ...
open processors, look for delay rack in drambo
its a weapon
I really like the vibe of this
I would trip up the chords more and go crazy with it , (create another rhythm with delay)
a lowpass filter in the delay loop does wonders for this kind of vibe
so every echo repeat gets more muffled
:)
anyway, nice vibe :)
its this classic hm ba hm ba hm ba rhythm
I would trip the chords up with filtered synced delay
hm ba hm ba ba hm bababa ?
u get what I mean I guess
kind of like a tripped out version of the first part
@lala Great ideas! I suspect what I’ll do is to create more duplicate scenes and progressively introduce more dubby madness with each scene. It’ll also provide a built in backup for existing ideas, in case it all goes horribly wrong 😉
