Sunrizer VST Serial Number
Hello folks,
Happy New Year!
This may be a long shot, but I wondered if anybody here has a serial number going spare (or one that they no longer use) that I could have to register the Sunrizer VST on my computer to change it from the demo version to a fully registered version, please?
I’d really much rather have the VST that I can use as a plug-in within my DAW than the app from the store, and with BeepStreet no longer offering new registrations or the VST anymore, this is my last hope.
Their customer service seems to be non-existent through email, Facebook, Instagram, etc. and so this is my last hope.
Thank you in advance,
Nathan

I guess you've seen this previous thread, https://forum.beepstreet.com/discussion/1459/activate-sunrizer-on-new-imac-in-logic-pro. Mac Sunrizer is basically a dead product.
Good luck on finding a serial number.
@uncleDave - Yes, seen this. I’m in the same predicament. Surely there must be a way for the developer to provide a working serial number if the demo version is still able to be downloaded, even if just to activate the full version?
I guess the problem is that there'd be no support. It would just open a can of worms. Surely there are other JP8000-style synths with current support, SynthMaster 2 for example.
@uncleDave - There’s an exact sound in Sunrizer that I created using the demo VST years ago that I want to create exactly the same again, and I’m not technically minded enough to understand how to re-create it with another synth.
Do you know if the IOS version is exactly the same as the VST was, please? If I downloaded the app to my Mac, do you know how I would record that into my DAW, please?
If you have Ableton, it could work in there.
@auxmux - The VST demo or the IOS App? I use Logic Pro X - is there any way to add it to the plugins there?
Logic supports AUv3.
@auxmux - Does that mean that I can download the Sunrizer app from the App Store on my Mac, and be able load it in as a plug-in within Logic Pro and use it just the same as I did with the VST?
Most iOS AUV3's only on M1 based Mac's...
...very few iOS AUv3's are Intel compatible (Moog apps and Mela 3 are a few of the exceptions).
I'll take a look at the M2 based MacMini's when they drop but I'm in no hurry to replace my current Intel MacMini...
@samu @auxmux - My Mac Mini doesn’t have an M1 chip, will that mean that I won’t be able to load the Sunrizer IOS app within Logic Pro?
Yepp! In order to be able to run iOS/iPadOS apps on the Mac it needs to have a M1/M2 CPU.
@samu - Do you know what I can do to be able to record the IOS App within Logic Pro, please? I’m getting a bit desperate now as I can’t seem to figure out a workaround.
IDAM works for that. You can connect the iPad directly to one of the USB Ports of the Mac. Launch the Audio & MIDI Setup app enable the iPad as an Midi Input/Output & Audio Input device.
This way you can record the output from the iPad just like you would record audio using any audio interface.
It's NOT me even though his name is also Samuel 😎
(IDAM been around for 5+ years already so the video is still quite accurate).
Good Luck!
@samu - Thank you for this, I’ll check it out. Is there a way that I can download the IOS app on my Mac and use it within Logic Pro, as opposed to using an iPhone or iPad? I ideally want Sunrizer running from my Mac.
@nathanhitchinson
Do you an external audio interface?
on another note you could also try using Sonobus from your ipad/iphone to your desktop.
You need an M1/M2 CPU in the Mac in order to run iOS/iPadOS apps.
An Intel Mac can simply put NOT run any native iOS/iPadOS apps...
@samu - But like IDAM is available to convert from iPhone/iPad to Logic Pro, is there not something that exists that would be able to do the exact same, for the same IOS app that’s been downloaded on Desktop instead that could run it to Logic Pro?
@gravitas - I have a Universal Audio Apollo Twin, if that helps at all?
IDAM stands for 'Inter Device Audio & Midi'
IDAM is NOT "CONVERTING" anything, It's just piping Midi In/Out and Audio in over USB between the Mac and iPad/iPhone.
Apps will come and go, nothing lasts forever...
@samu - Okay, but is there a desktop alternative which would allow me to run the IOS app downloaded from the store onto my Mac, into Logic Pro?
NO, NO, NO & NO. You NEED a Mac with M1/M2 CPU to do that.
When you look at the AppStore on an M1/M2 equipped Mac you should see most of the Apps you've purchased on the iPhone or iPad unless the developer blocked them from download on the Mac...
@samu - Thank you. I appreciate your help and knowledge. I’m an absolute novice with this, and so appreciate your patience too. Looking at the App Store on my Mac now, the Sunrizer app doesn’t even appear! I imagine if I was using a Mac with an M1 chip, it would appear on the app store?
Most likely yes unless @giku has blocked it from download on the Mac.
As an example Drambo can be installed on M1/M2 Mac but not on any Intel Mac.
I don't have an M1/M2 Mac yet either...
...but when Apple eventually releases M2 based MacMini I may consider getting one to replace my Mini.
I have sunriser running inside Drambo on an m2 Mac
(its the "IOS app au", not the old au plugin sold via the website, I had that too ...)
I dont think I did anything not public to install it? 🤔
The OP doesn't have a M1/M2 based Mac so using iOS AUv3's is a no-go...
Hi, did this ever get sorted? I'm having the same problem, I can't activate my demo version.
Happy to pay for a working serial number.
