Newbie Qs - Don’t understand results I’m getting with MIDI effects

Hi

Still pretty new to Drambo, have watched Daveypoo’s tuts, a couple of Ben Richards, and have R-Ed TFM and done the main tut in it. But apart from doing basic things, I’m mostly failing to figure things out by trial and error, partly because there doesn’t seem to be a complete module reference and many modules are missing Help info at this time. And I can’t find a Youtube tut on Drambo MIDI effects.

If anyone would be kind enough to offer any pointers I’d be grateful :)

Why the CHORD module stops adding extra notes when I put an ADSR after the oscillator? The following patch only sounds one note. Shouldn’t it add extra notes using the played note as a base, as in Ableton Live?

    Hey Richard, you need to put all midi modules before the midi 2 cv module. Always follow the signal path in Drambo to see whats going on; here, your oscillator is getting pitch from midi to cv, and the vca is getting its gate there too. Chord before MIDI 2 CV will convert the midi chords into information your other modules can use.
