Trigger Button and Flexi Sampler in loop mode

So if I put a trigger button module before the flexi sampler, the button plays the sample as expected if mode is set to 1-shot, but if I put flexi in loop mode it does nothing. Am I missing something?


Also why does the launch setting (trigger/gate) not do anything in flexi when the mode is set to loop?

    The Trigger button fires a short pulse (gate high/gate low). Loop mode requires a constant gate high to run.

    Ah, that explains it. Thx. But what’s the reason behind that? Why not start/stop the loop when launch is set to trigger? 🤔
