Are you talking about the Drum Computer app from SugarBytes?
If so, it’s fairly easy to set up. I personally take advantage of Drum Computer’s 8 channel multi-out audio, and insert the instance of DC on Drambo’s Main channel, then route each of DC’s audio outs to your desired tracks in Drambo.
Then tap on each of your Drambo track’s audio input nodes, and assign them to DC’s 8 output nodes.
(Here, I’ve created 8 extra tracks in Drambo after the default 8, which I’ll use exclusively for DC. Therefore, I’m assigning track #9 to the first output from DC. In other words tracks 9 thru 16 are going to be DC’s 8 audio outs)
Then, to route the multi-out channels from within DC, make sure to switch this setting (in DC’s settings - circled in the middle of this image below)
Then, to use Drambo’s sequencer to play DC, is all dependent on how you have the “mapping” set up in this section here (lower right)
Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any questions.
Oh good question. You’ll record (or set) your steps on the main channel, as that is where the plugin resides. All of the 9-16 channels are just the audio outputs. In those, you can add individual effects for each sound.
Another way of using Drum Computer, is to use this exact same setup, but use DC’s in-built sequencer, then use Drambo’s sequencer to control DC’s pattern changes (DC should respond to pattern changes with -C2, -C#2, etc) on the main track.
edit: and this setup works for any multi-out AUV3 (like Hammerhead, or Patterning 3 for example) and it also doesn’t have to be a drum app either. For a real fun time, try using the Drambo AUv3 here using this setup. Drambo inside Drambo!
Thanks for the tip! I set up a piano roll in the DC and placed it not on the master track, but on each track. Now, when I switch the octave, another instrument plays (C1 is the kick drum, C2 is the snare, and so on). So I also made a DC preset so that every time I load the piano roll into the DC it remains configured

Do you set the steps on each track that you connected (9-16)? Or do you set the steps directly in the master channel?

try midi ch 10
play all notes up and down the keyboard and see what sound reacts
this should work with with most drum computers ...
