Undo/redo
Hello,
I was learning how to use Drambo on iOS and got stuck on the learning curve, not being an expert on modular synths. One problem that motivated me to uninstall it is the lack of a 'Redo' function. Much like the 'Undo' function, the opposite, 'Redo', is equally important as you need to be able to go back and forth by a couple of actions sometimes to adjust your workflow.
Is there any update that includes the Redo function? This would motivate me to reinstall this app.

Undo is incomplete and we know it.
Best workaround is to save frequently.
I rarely use Undo to be honest but that didn't really spoil the fun for me.
Granted, it can take quite a while to get into modular synthesis and advanced sound design in general but I think that it's more than worth taking the time and patience if you want to do more than what's available in most synths and effects.
I feel, where I’d like undo the most is to compare different configurations.
It would also be useful when removing modules causes auto~connection of remaining modules which can get quite confusing, especially when inter-track connections are present.
Having said that, I also got used to not having it and it’s fine. I would definitely appreciate having it though.
@Matt miRack has a surprisingly robust undo/redo if you're still interested in pursuing modular.
@Matt I treat Drambo as if it hasn’t got an Undo function at all and it’s surprisingly easy to get used to.
As someone else who certainly isn’t any sort of expert with modular synths, i can only urge you not to give up on Drambo just because of the lack of Redo and a proper Undo. You don’t need to learn much for it to be great fun to use and there are lots of really good tutorials available on YouTube.
I don’t know what you guys are talking about, undo works just fine for me (since I never use it)
Undo/redo of modules would be interesting, but think of all the work. Maybe not worth it when there’s so much better things Giku can be doing
Save often (all my projects get named with version.iteration).
Undo works for sequencing (only) and I use it for the clear all shortcut but really it is a statement that we’re here after all this time, and undo only gets mentioned occasionally
I only ever use it when sequencing live. Undo a dodgy take is seamless, especially when using hardware controllers.
It comes in handy sometimes if I know I’ve somehow added an extra note to the sequencer (by grabbing my iPad to move it or sth)
This is how I found out Drambo even has a undo function.
I could see how that could be helpful for someone. We all have our own way of working and the tool needs to feel frictionless to be truly creative.
I'm not looking it up and don't tell me where it is, I'm fine without out lol.
Don't forget the undo button combinations: https://www.beepstreet.com/drambo-docs/user-interface-overview.html#shortcutsandgestures
