Mimicking of scrubbing the numbers module
I'm trying to get as close as possible to the sound of the impulses that happen when you scrub the numbers on the numbers module, not quite there yet but maybe there are some suggestions?

Well it sounds cool, so far. No suggestions, sorty, other than slap limiter at the end. Don’t really get what you’re after, but you peaked my curiosity
Scrubbing values sounds like it does because UI interactions are sampled at a steady rate.
Here's a patch that replicates it.
Fun side effect: You can "play" the sampling frequency like musical pitches on the keyboard.
Everything behind "Gain Compensation" is optional but might be useful 😉
Very cool @rs2000 thanks for that! I guess there is a good reason why Morph can't be mapped to numbers, though yet you can control it by midi feedback.
@pedro not after anything specific here just really liked the sound produced by pure scrubbing of the numbers.
You're welcome!
No morphing of numbers ... well, do you have a nice idea how to map a range and visualize it?
Just a reminder: A knob can have an insanely large range, -1 million to 1 million if you like, and you can morph that.
its the same thing but you could have two number modules and cross fade between it. Quantize to some value and youll get some scratchy sounds I’m sure.
Besides the scrubbing idea and in case Morph can be assigned to it, one idea would be to use your radio button setup to dial in values so you'd have a 'master' numbers rack if that makes any sense for efficiency?
@bcrichards good one will try that!
Hmm @Moa13 it really depends on which values you need. I tend to use Graphic Shaper curves for, erm, almost everything 😄
On that note, I wish that the shapers etc would have an expanding floating window mode so you can actually see what you're doing on an oscilloscope.
Long press on an input and you should have a pop up oscilloscope.
Resize it to fit the bottom of the page whilst you do stuff in the Rack's.
i think a pop out shaper window would be great. Mess with curves and other modules at the same time 👍
Agreed.
Foremostly for this indeed.
