Missing sizing options for plugins
I’m not 100% sure that this is an issue. I know that there were three plugin window side options (red in the screenshot below) before: docked small, docked large and floating. It looks like I can’t reproduce the same experience that “docked large” provided, unless I’m missing something about the other handles (green in the screenshot).

He’s streamlined those into one button. Your AU is either docked (like in your screenshot), or tap on that blue square that you have circled in red, and you then have the floating AU window which can be resized by the handle at the lower right corner.
The other two (Blue arrows) you mention, are not related to the auv3 plugin.
The upper blue arrow expose the clip launcher area, and can be used to resize the rack/module area. (Drag)
The lower exposes or hides the pads/keyboard area.
@Intrepolicious thanks, that’s what I thought. It seems to me that the “docked large” option was a quicker way to have reasonable-sized display without fiddling with a specific window size, but I can try to get used to the new way.
I see now that the blue arrows don’t ever resize the window plugin, I think they did in one of the docked modes befor, that’s why I got confused.
Depending on the auv3, if it’s in the “docked” state, the upper “Launcher” arrow will resize some AUv3s
Again though, must be docked. (try it. Drag it all the way up and down)
Ah yes, I see now. Thanks for the explanation! I don’t know if the title can be amended to say that this is not an actual issue.
I miss the larger docked view as well.
I only like managing one or two windows at a time, this change pushes me to manage more windows in order to have more access in some states where I would use the larger docked view instead.
Having an option to expand past the track selector again would be nice. There seems to be a bug where it will go back to that mode randomly, but I cannot replicate it yet unfortunately.
I found one thing that I do think is an issue: double tapping to maximize does not extend the AU window all the way down on my 11-inch iPad Pro:
+1 on my aged Air 3.
I would also like it to extend fully upwards as well as all the way down.
But you can still 'pan & scroll' (tap on any empty area and swipe up or down) the UI to reach the areas that are 'hidden' ?
Yes, that works without issues
One thing people seem to miss in Microwave UI is the little red translucent dot that can be used to pan & scroll the UI.
I prefer to keep the plug-ins at maximum width and scroll when needed (if the plug-in supports it, Quanta 2 doesn't as one example).
I am grateful that the double tap on a AU header has returned though.
@samu yes, that translucent red scroll tool in Microwave is definitely useful!
