Feature request: Recorder sample rate adjustment

The recorder utility inside drambo is a very handy tool for looping with external synths. The only problem is that it doesn’t adjust the recorded sample rate to the iPad system. So I can play the recordings just as long as the USB soundcard or synth running at 44kHz is connected, Upon disconnecting, the iPad switches to its internal 48kHz, speeding up the loops inside Recorder.

The samplers in drambo do correct this, so it should be possible. but I would prefer the recorder for basic loops.

Ipad doesn’t allow switching manually to 48kHz unfortunately

  • I'm gonna check this and provide a fix. Looks like a bug. Thank you!

  • Great, thanks!

  • @giku can you also have a look at the sample edit window, that you get after clicking the waveform inside the recorder? Somehow I can’t drag selections as expected over the waveform for trimming, fading etc, like in the same window in the samplers. Maybe I miss a double tap or another way to do this, but in the samplers the same thing just works. Thank you

  • I have trouble dragging points on the screen edges. Takes me several attempts to press it just right

Points on the middle work great

Could it be that @Harlem ?

  • @pedro @giku It seems like the waveform screen responds just sometimes to dragging selections. Sometimes got it by accident and got a small selection, then cannot adjust the edges properly and it makes a new small selection instead between presses. Unusable for me yet. In flexi sampler (you can drag accross from recorder) it’s better but response still not great

I would suggest a designated part or height for dragging a selection over a waveform, perhaps at the bottom, the same way like flexi sampler has near the top for placing slices.

    Can this be improved?
