Meta Randomizer - Retain random values after saving and loading
Hi there,
I’m loving getting deeper into Drambo with my new iPad mini and after lurking here for a while I feel like I have a decent idea for a future development :).
The meta randomizer is crazy powerful for creating random presets automatically and I’m using it all the time.
One thing that would enhance it a lot would be for it to retain its current values after a save and load. I did a little test and I think I’m correct in saying it doesn’t do this right now.
If the current values were retained then it would allow for super rapid and recallable preset variation.
Perhaps there’s a way to do this already. The randomize feature in the rack header is an amazing thing to have but, in my experience, as it randomizes every value in the rack within its full range it produces results so wild that they often aren’t that useful or even audible.
In any case I’m glad to add to the discussion! Mr overexplainer over here…
cheers!

Yes, retaining current values in the project is an open issue that also applies to the Shift Register and especially the Meta Randomizer module too.

Try the Meta Randomizer module, it lets you define ranges for each destination parameter 😊
