Monoflop module to set gate length (like MIDI Gate) ?
I want to be able to extend an incoming gate pulse to a specific length. Basically do what the MIDI Gate module does for MIDI notes in the CV / Gate environment.
Does such a “Monoflop” module exist or do I need to go Midi Note Generator -> Midi Gate -> Midi To CV ?
There is the pulse generator, but the maximum pulse length is 50ms (grrrrrr….).

Graphic modulator and graphic envelope come to mind, impulse generator for short but precise times. You can hack graphic modulator to not repeat. Other than longer gate times, does this require any other functionality?
Thanks for the help - graphic envelope is the way forward.
I for one would like to see the final result
This was originally intended for this generative sequencer project: https://patchstorage.com/pulsestar/
In the end I decided against a special "gate monoflop" and looked into other solutions for a variable gate. However, @bcrichards suggestion of using the graphic modulator module inspired me to use this module instead of some LFOs in the sequencer. One of the many great things that I love about Drambo is that there are always new ways to explore and modules waiting to be used that you have never noticed before.
So true.
You could even use a Noise Gate module, route the gate signal to its input and use the NG Env output as the monoflop signal.
This works for gate times up to 1 second.
Or process the gate signal in a slew limiter in Linear mode with Rise=0 and Fall=loooong if you need more 😉

Here is my final solution to the problem: Simply wrap the MIDI gate module into CV in and out:
