Thanks, I know I can filter the incoming notes but, in the context of using a generic MIDI controller with few pads, it is useful to be able to map only the desired notes.
The pads are midi mappable, so you could enter midilearn, hit the note you want, then hit the physical pad you want. Don't know how useful that is for you, when you want to change them again after mapping...
If there's a limited number of different predetermined mappings, you want to change between, you could set up one generic mapping, then setup a note filter for each mapped pad, followed by a transpose-module set to the note you want, put all that in a midi rack and put that into a layer switch. Repeat for other mappings. Maybe add a Transpose after the layer switch, so you can change the key. Quite a bit of preparation, but might pay off.
Thanks @tyslothrop1 great idea, which would also allow for different scales per track.
In the meantime I remembered an app I bought 6 years ago, when Drambo didn't exist yet, KB-1 which is very customizable, now it can work inside a host and seems like the simple and fast solution until @giku adds custom scales to Drambo.

You’ll find them in keyboard settings.
Yes I know this, but what I meant is a custom mode where I can choose the notes to use just like you can do on DRC, Animoog or other synths
I've also requested this long ago and it's on the long list of requests already ;)
ah sorry, yep out of luck for now with custom scales.
Not the same but you can use cv quantiser to filter out unwanted notes.
Well, it will come out sooner or later :)

Thanks, that's what I'm doing now but always having the same mapping and changing the scale on the individual Drambo project is much easier and faster
Don't know, if this might suit you, but...
