Wow and Flutter with just clock?

Saw this video where Pamela's Pro workout is used to add flutter and wow to (just?) a vco using only clock. How is this done and can it be done it Drambo?

  • As the guy says, that module is more than just a clock, he uses it as an LFO, or better two LFOs, one quick for the flutter and one slow for the wow. I guess in Drambo you could just modulate the pitch of a vco with two LFOs and adjust speeds and depths to taste.

Ok thanks all I thought there was some clock magic I didn’t understand. It’s just lfos to pitch and amp. And likely those lfos are controlled by the clock.

  • a sequence of pulses that other modules use for reference. Haven't used eurorack so I'm sort of fuzzy on the concept in practice. Or does eurorack use the same kind of clock as drambo which is a series of ramps which indicate position as well as rate?

  • No, Eurorack usually uses a clock signal that is made of short pulses without any indication of position, much like in MIDI clock.

Drambo uses a time signal that always lets you determine the exact position inside a pattern, which also allows you to build your own sequencer if you like.
