Customize colors in drambo

Hey. Drambo is amazing, but I wish there was an option to change the color palette.

  • This has been talked about before. The developer isn’t too keen on changing anything having to do with the color palette as Drambo relies heavily on the colors to distinguish connections between modules. This is part of what makes Drambo unique.

The color coded connection nodes are how you organize things, and how you know whats connected to what, without messy cables hanging everywhere like in your typical modular synth (look at MiRack, Model 15, or hardware eurorack setups).

  • I like when devs stand behind their UI choices for the sake of the bigger picture!

Brams latest app, Solderbox, has this option to double click the wire at either end of the wires and it changes it to one of the 4 or 5 colors the app uses.

OP mentioned Pallette, I could see a bit of a Patterning 3 implementation or the previous example I mentioned as a way to keep the apps functionality the same

Just throwing out some ideas. I dig the apps approach and haven’t had any UI wishes other than Clips being a little bigger

  • I dont think Drambo UI could be improved. Probably can but people ( not you ) asking for rebuilds. Must be mad.

  • agreed. V1 to V2 was night and day and really well implemented. Well thought out all around.
