Drambo issues

edited March 9 in Drambo

First is the mixer isnt binded to the tracks. Adjust volume in mixer wont update track volume and vice versa.

Then theres this record issue.

If record is on and you change track. It messes with sequencer view.

Have these been issues since Drambo update ? ( iv only just updated Drambos )

  • Yes weird that they aren’t bound to eachother. Seems like a master preamp and post amp situation. Maybe that’s intentional?

  • Bump @sinelanguge Q

    is this the intended behavior?

If not, Volume on tracks don’t sync with the Main Mixer.

When you restart Drambo, the volumes are in sync though.

    Same goes for Sends.

Can’t think of a reason why that would be intended but if so, would anyone mind giving an explanation for the rationale?

    - Fixed: Track module knobs were not synchronized with the corresponding rack knobs.

    - Fixed: Current sequence view range was changed during recording.

    - Fixed: Layout problems with Mela AUv3.

    - Improved: Notes representation in clip preview views. (only used octaves are shown)

    - Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.

I imagine you’re attempting to be helpful. But bolding an update note meant to fix an issue that’s the same issue that’s still occurring just feels patronizing.

The issue persists on my end. I wouldn’t post a comment about it unless I checked otherwise

I’m updated on every platform to the latest. Happens on each.

Just sharing as it doesn’t particularly bother me. I just wanted Giku and whoever else helps with testing to have a look at it

@offbrands I meant no offense. I have no way of knowing what you may have tried. The fact is often people overlook updates or sometimes little things. That's why I posed it as a question. It was a sincere question. I was wondering if the issue was fixed by the update or not. Bolding the line of the release notes was just a way of bringing attention to it amongst the other details. I never would have thought that to be patronizing.

I'll take note not to engage with you so as not to offend you in the future.

I really didn’t expect my post to come off as offended, but I can see your point on second look. Apologies.

Text based communication is often difficult so my bad if that came off as crass. Wasn’t intended nor do I expert anyone to avoid me for fear of offending me. I’m an adult and I’m really not easily put off lol. If I was I wouldn’t have kept writing afterwards trying to re-contextualize the issue

What I meant by my posting of my feeling of being patronized was more so that the response was just a bolded release note and seems minimally helpful. Though I can see that maybe I should have stated which version I’m on, what platform I’m trying, etc.

To be clear on my end I don’t see anything indicating it was a question you asked. I just see the bolding quote. Maybe there was some context left out in your response?

Since that post, I’ve checked on iPhone again and iOS seems to be reacting as expected. iPadOS still has the desynced volume / send knobs issue.

    Hope we are good @number37

omg. I originally included a question and now see that I left it out, probably when pasting the quoted release notes. Sorry about that. That is pretty embarrassing.

  • All good we all have been there I’m sure - either way, apologies on my end. Hope you’re well.
