Load plugin built-in presets
Hi all,
I’m trying to figure out how to load the built-in factory presets for an instrument plugin. In other apps (AUM, Loopy Pro), there’s a little icon that lets you pick factory presets that come from the plugin itself (see pictures).
Drambo has an option for presets, but these seem to be Drambo-specific and initially there are none.
Any ideas?

You're correct, module presets save the current AUv3 state and they're independent from the AUv3's own presets, although you can of course save your favorite AUv3 presets as module presets.
You can use the PC Generator to select specific presets inside the AUv3 though. Most synths support that.
Really? If so then that must be an undercommunicated feature; I wouldn't be able to name 3 plugins that for sure support preset change using program change message. Admittedly I haven't tried, I just thought they didn't.
@figurehma I see you are posting Fugue Machine screen shots, that is typically the occasion where I also think "I just wish Drambo could load plugin presets". I guess some developers think it is unnecessary double work for a plugin to have to implement its own preset management in the UI, seeing that this is rather a host responsibility. Therefore we get Fugue Machine working fully in some hosts, but not all. Luckily, most plugins have developed their own preset management over time, making them operate the same across various hosts.
Maybe Layers Switch would be a solution? You can’t use PC I don’t think but you can P-lock the Layer to a Clip and it conveniently would load any number of other modules at the same time.
