Drambo MFX clock receive
Up until now I’ve always used the instrument instance of Drambo for rhythm based effects.
However, I’ve just tried the Drambo MFX and cannot make graphic modulators, cv sequencer and buffer effects run in the same way I can in Drambo instrument.
Is MFX deaf to clock in? I did set it to receive.

By default, the plugin versions receive AUv3 timing from the host.
Did you explicitly send MIDI clock and MIDI status messages to the MFX plugin?
No, but because time sensitive modules weren’t behaving as I was expecting them to I went to Drambo settings and made sure the clock receive is lit green. TBH I never do that because it generally all connects and works automatically.
It’s good to know it should receive time signal. I’ll just keep fiddling with it.
No idea what’s going on. I’ve created a fresh instance of Drambo MFX and just added a Euclidean sequencer and that is not moving. Loopy pro doesn’t seem to have a setting for clock sends to plugins and I see Turnado time effects working fine. Mmmmm
I just did a quick test. I started a loopy pro project from the default template, added Drambo MFX as an FX on a color, added a Euclidean sequencer and pressed play in Loopy. The Euclidean sequencer moves as it should in both the App Store and Beta Loopy Pro versions.
Ahh ... I think I found it, at least in my test setup.
Midi Clock input from **AU MIDI input 1** needs to be OFF (not green) in the Drambo MFX settings. If I turn it ON then Euclidean stops.
Probably Loopy Pro isn't sending midi clock to the MFX. I doesn't need to because AUv3 plugins sync is tighter. AUM has a way to route clock anyway. Loopy doesn't.
I love you man!! @number37
