Using Drambo for mutes on Elektron digiboxes and how to do recall states
Hi everyone
so I’ve made a complex Drambo patch that works as a module for my Elektron syntakt. Usefully I’ve made a midi feedback thing so that all my midi mutes (CC97 of track channel) when pressed on Elektron box also control a button in drambo, and that same button when pressed sends a gate to a cc generator for CC97. This means I can have mutes set inside my scene fader which is great
what I really want however is to have some particular midi notes on channel 16 be a trigger to set the state of the mutes; but the only method I can think of is using a morph module with a controller set to the particular midi note but that would reset the mutes upon the note off message; or I think get stuck..
I’ll keep thinking but posting here in case anyone has any bright ideas! Hope this makes sense…. Re reading it idk if it does.. maybe I’ll share some of the patches after this post

I think this is the closest I have so far after some thought - if the knobs within are assigned to the mute CC per channel then I think keys c1 to b1 could be pressed and then the correct gates assigned to knobs to control. Not sure how the feedback would work in this case I need to check later with my syntakt.

Have you tried Control Type = Button Toggle?
I don't see any MIDI mappings btw, please share the project file.
I’ll share something later, if there isn’t a done method for recalling snapshots of certain settings then that’s my question answered. I have some mad ideas that I need to test later that maaaybe might achieve what I need!
Snapshots can be saved as rack presets but there is no MIDI control for choosing presets yet.
Using layers of knobs, switched by MIDI, would be one way to work around.
