swipe actions when you are on the MacOS app?

How can I obtain the tablet gestures when I am on a MacBook?

Like for example track mute and solo? I cannot swipe on the mousepad.

You can click and drag to swipe.

  • No that doesn't work for me, but switching touch alternatives on in settings works.

  • I’ve considered Drambo on macOS for a while, need a new computer first. Since you’re already using it, how do you find it on a computer? And with for example ableton as an AU host? I’d considered two instances and doing dj style performances of Drambo patches

  • @lisson_ldn I'm mostly using it standalone so far and only drag stems to Ableton but that may change...

I like it. Lots of screen real estate, hardly any CPU or memory limits for whatever massive projects I'm about to build (samples, recordings, loops) and the Macbooks have great speakers so I'm not totally dependent on monitors.

  • Also only standalone on Mac here, or at least until the day Ableton implements MIDI output for AUv3's

  • Drambo AU in Ableton works great for me. I really hope they implement midi out too!

  • I've been using Drambo on my mac and I like it a lot for doing sound design. The bigger screen real estate is nice, and I don't have too much trouble clicking and dragging knobs, as opposed to dragging my finger across the screen.

Ableton does not support Auv3 yet, but I was able to send midi from Ableton to Drambo on the Mac using the external hardware instrument in Ableton. For example here's a screenshot of Ableton sending a 4 on the floor kick to a kick preset in Drambo.

If you want to do automation inside Ableton, you can almost certainly do by sending Midi CCs from Ableton out to Drambo, which you then could apply using the MIDI CC Modulator unit.

Pretty amazing time we live in for music technology.

  • Holy moly, I didn't realize Ableton had an Auv3 option in the settings->plugins screen, this is a huge unlock

    That's exciting!
