I think a new set of locks at the pattern level would be super useful. Hold a pattern, adjust parameters - that parameter becomes default setting for the whole pattern

Its on "to be considered list" :) what I really miss is automation, I'm trying to apply the best mix of these concepts.
Last week I missed exactly that: Being able to store track mutes/solos in patterns.
That would be a super-easy replacement for song mode, somewhat.
