Continuous velocity (CC) on pads (and keyboard?)
When pad velocity is enabled, the pad position is translated into a velocity value once.
Sliding up and down has no effect.
It would be great to have some expressiveness by sending continuous CC messages depending on the vertical finger position on the pad (and why not on the keyboard too).
And, while I'm at the control subject, a "touch" (Z axis) output for the XY pad.

AFAIK note velociy is not a CC. It's always bound to note-on event.

The plan is, to make pads work in different configurable modes: Select, Trig and user defined. In Trig and user modes you may configure all pad gestures (from tap to movements).
Yes, that's why I have also mentioned CCs, please ignore the velocity part.
The only real alternative to CC would be aftertouch.
