Copying a track with all modules and the sequence for that track
It happened to me a few times that I wanted to select all modules in a track and copy them to a new track including the sequenced data.
Feature suggestion: Tap-hold on the track header to open the copy/paste menu which will copy everything on that track: All modules and the sequence. This is especially useful for copying a complete track to a different project.

on a related note, it would also be nice to share data between AU instances. Like copy/pasting a module or rack from one instance to another.

hm, we can already save tracks,
its just doesnt save the sequence
so save track with sequence would be nice
(getting rid of the notes later isn't a problem ...)

It will come with clips and Track sequencer.. Generally sequencer will be available on a track as a module, so that you can copy it with all of its contents + you may use many Track sequencers on a track :).
Is there a chance that the current 16 track limit will be increased?
You can add more tracks actually if you use copy/paste. You can then access those tracks via the view that shows all the tracks ontop of each other.
I do this in my custom starting template, with the fx tracks and master only accessible that way. Giku recently fixed a crash that happened when soloing on a project with more than 16 tracks.
That being said, I don't think its really supported :P
I submitted a bug report awhile ago about crashes with events on those copy/pasted tracks from 17 and up. I tried again with 17 tracks, placed a trig in 17 and it insta-crashed. Doesn't seem to work for me..
Oh yeah you're right. I've been using my FX sends without any sequencing so I never ran into it! It's been stable for me otherwise.
ohh so it works for sends and the like. I'll have to give that a shot!
