RE: Included Wavetable Use Rights Question. Proprietary but free ?
At time mark 1:30 in Ben's wavetable video. If I understand what Ben said correctly. Some of the included wavetables are "free but proprietary source - not open source".
Are all the included wavetables all royalty free with rights granted for commercial use of music produced using them?
I'm not talking about the typical restriction of "coping and reselling wavetables as part of a sample pak"... Just asking if the end-user rights for the included Drambo wavetables, grant royalty-free rights for use in original musical compositions to be sold commercially?
As a rule I never use any commercial use restricted samples.
Love the new update... Thanks.

I should not have even mentioned where the wavetables came from. I will add in a note about this in the YouTube notes. They are royalty free; Giku has permission to use them.
these are the wavetables included. Proprietary was the wrong word to use. Sorry!
@Horsetrainer Yes, absolutely! The fine print in most free WT and sample packs can usually be summarized like this:
Free to use in your music productions and free and commercial music distribution but not free to re-distribute the original files as part of a commercial product.
Yes, ESW agreed on using these wavetables in Drambo. Yes its a standard license, when it comes to bundled samples / va content. Free for music productions but not for redistribution. License will be included in upcoming update. (indeed forgot about that)
Ok, cool... Thanks for providing clarity about that. :)
