How to Quantize an LFO to a pitch scale
Here's what I'd like to do:
Have an LFO be driving pitch up and down, but have that pitch be quantized to a scale. Then, have a sample and hold determine exactly when that (quantized) pitch is held, and for how long.
It seems like a very simple thing to do in the modular world, but it appears to be impossible in Drambo?
The problem I'm running into: the quantizer only outputs midi notes (so it's not only quantizing CV but converting them to midi). Is there something I'm missing?

you might have overlooked the CV Quantizer in the ‘misc’ section ;)
No I am using the CV quantizer - the problem is that it's not really that! It's converting CV to midi.
Could you share a screenshot of your configuration? CV to Midi shouldn’t be possible without use of a Note Generator module.
I'd just like to add that the output of the CV quantizer is a note CV value on Drambo's note scale, which is 0.125 units per octave, ranging from -0.5 to about +0.75, with middle C at +0.125. This is the note signal its oscillators respond to. Perhaps this is not what you're expecting.
One more thing, the CV Quantizer has an integrated sample and hold. Send a trigger to the Quantizer’s gate input, and it will only quantize when it receives a trigger. So you may be able to do without the S&H, depending on what you’re trying to do.
Absolutely @aleyas. My own muscle memory 😄
